  This is the first time we tried using this salon. After seeing all the flyers about a promotion going on for students throughout the store last week we decided to check it out. We tried to book online and there were no available appointments on any day, went as far as December and any type of appointment wasn’t available. So we decided to take the drive from North Austin, when we arrived they were working on one person and other stylist were just sitting on their phones. I thought perfect we came at the right time, but nope the lady that greeted us said they were extremely busy and couldn’t cut my kiddos hair. I said busy? She kept saying yes extremely busy. Not sure if I need glasses or what but they were all, but one just sitting around doing absolutely nothing. Or “Busy” on their phones my bad! She did try to book us but not going back to a really busy salon! lol

  I must give a shout out to my hairdresser, Willow at JCPENNYS at University Oaks in Round Rock. She always listens and does exactly what I ask for. She’s a skilled haircutter and does a beautiful job at highlights! You will love her ❤️

  I had a very disappointing experience at the JCPenney hair salon. After an initial rescheduling issue where my calls and messages went unanswered, I finally secured an appointment. Upon arrival, I found that the stylist I had specifically booked was unavailable. The replacement stylist was not friendly .To make matters worse, she was a 'senior' stylist and they attempted to charge me more for the switch—despite the fact that the scheduling error was theirs. When I spoke to the manager, she showed a complete lack of accountability and professionalism, failing to resolve the issue or even acknowledge the booking mistake. I hope they improve their management and customer service for future clients. Btw I left WITHOUT a haircut.

  TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE I recently used haircut services at JCPenney salon in Round Rock and had the most awful experience of my life. I had booked an appointment with Christopher, one of the senior hairstylists at the salon expecting satisfactory services based on the experience and $55 charge that I was to pay. I was planning to donate my hair for cancer patients and had made the stylist aware of this before hand. There is nothing fancy that needs to be done to meet this need, however he failed to do this and ended up cutting my hair so unevenly that I had to give up more than expected hair length to salvage it. The worst part was that he did not have the courtesy to even communicate to me his mistake or confront me and just told me that the job was done. This is definitely a very dissatisfying and an insulting experience. I was not charged for this service as a compensation by the salon and helped by another stylist but the overall experience was horrible and would never come back to this place or advise anybody. The charges are not cheap and the level of service that is provided is not comparable with it at all!
