  I have been a client of Carissa for almost a year now since the Summer of 2025 and I am in her stylist chair every 4-5 weeks. She does wonderful job with my thick hair and has done color, cuts, highlights and spectacular blowouts. I get many compliments from people I know and even strangers about how good my hair looks. After trying multiple stylists in the Rockwall area, I had almost given up hope of finding someone that does what I want and cares about making her clients happy. Carissa is a very talented stylist and makes every visit a fun one with her outgoing personality.

  Carissa is my go-to lady for cut and color and is an awesome stylist! She is personable, friendly and cares about taking care of her clients! And most importantly she does a great job for me and my family. We get compliments on our hair all the time. Also, the value at the Penney salons cannot be beat. So glad I found her!

  Unfortunately I got one of the worst haircuts I have ever gotten in my life. I asked for layers. A lot of my hair was chopped off with no layers. My hair looks nothing like the inspiration picture. It is uneven and choppy. That with also being left in my chair for extremely long periods of time made this experience, unenjoyable and afraid to ever step foot in a JCPenney salon again. I was kind, courteous, and patient. But this was a very frustrating experience. I can tell the stylist was nice, and did her best and I did not for one moment give her a hard time. It is nothing personal, but her hair skills need a lot more work and I’m surprised she was even hired. JCPenney needs to do better. Not to mention the appearance of another stylist that showed up to work like she got straight out of bed from a long night of drinks with knots and all in her hair. You couldn’t even get a comb through that head if you tried. It was bad. It’s simply not professional.

  My mom and I got haircuts for my birthday and the girl who cut my hair did a terrible job. I asked her to cut it short to my shoulders and she cut it all the way to my earlobes. Not to mention it was very uneven the left side of my hair was longer then the right and the back was choppy and had tufts of hair sticking out. I had to call my sister in law to fix it.
