- KKkellygraceleeMay 13, 20261.0Aster is horrendous. Butchered my daughter’s hair and did not blends like i asked. Just kept going shorter and shorter. She was sighing and acting annoyed the whole time. Snapped at me when i suggested layers were getting too short. Yanking my daughter’s hair with her comb. Just an awful experience. I’m so sad at how her hair looks. I would never let her touch her hair again. Ick. I’m done with great clips. Lake Forest and 380 location
- AOAndrea OrganMay 9, 20262.0Came in for a trim but also wanted my hair washed. It was then I was told that I'd leave with wet hair because having your hair blown dry wasn't included in a wash. You have to pay for a "style" which is an additional $40 just to have your wet hair dried. This is the kind of thing that has kept me out of salons for over a year. If your salon offers a wash with a cut it stands to reason that a client should also get to leave with dry hair and fully see the finished product of their haircut. This isn't on the stylist as this is a salon that has set prices that aren't determined by the stylist. My stylist was nice and accommodating and my hair turned out how I wanted. But I won't be returning. Washing my hair, trimming 1.5 inches and blow drying it shouldn't cost $60, $40 of which was for the blow dry.

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
