  I had called a week ago to make an appointment, took the day off and drove 30 miles this morning to try this place and pamper myself for my birthday. When I arrived, they had my info and credit card on file (they charge if you no show) but no appointment scheduled for me. The receptionist said they could get me in an hour and a half later but I declined because I had lunch reservations at noon with my mom who also took off work. I got super upset and left but blamed it on myself for not having called them yesterday when I thought it odd I hadn’t received an appointment confirmation call but I’m a busy mom of 3 and by the time I thought about it they were closed. Well I had a car cry in the parking lot for a good 10-15 minutes and while I’m balling I get a call from the owner, Christina. She was very apologetic about the situation and insisted I meet her there in 15 minutes. I tried to tell her I was now in a flustered state and clearly just had a lot of stress built up that I let out but again she comforted me and insisted so I agreed. This beautiful person came to personally give me my service and was so kind and supportive. She wouldn’t let me pay either even though I tried to insist. I got the platinum halo with a blowout. It was very relaxing and felt so nice. Natalie did my blowout and was super knowledgeable about hair and we chatted about curly and healthy hair care. I would recommend this place solely for the way Christina turned a crappy situation into a good start to my day after all. Thank you for being so kind! They also mentioned they’re opening a location off Gessner and i10 so that will be about half the drive for me!

  I received a Gift Card and thought it would be good - had NO idea it would SOOO GOOD. Highly recommend asking for Jasmine!!!! Cannot wait to go back HIGHLY Recommend

  I drove an hour to modern halo because of there instagram posts.. it was an amazing experience. Diamond was awesome. She has magical hands and definitely gifted with all things hair! Great blowout.. I will be back

  I got the platinum halo package and blow out since they were doing a promotion at the time. I’m assuming my stylist was new, as the head massages were the worst I’ve ever had. The actual head spa treatments were nice and relaxing but I was also not Impressed with the products. My hair was immediately frizzy after my blow out - this doesn’t happen with my usual hair stylist, no matter the weather. Way too expensive for what I experienced. Would not return.
