  My daughter and a friend were looking in your Katy Mills store for an eyebrow pencil. My daughter tried one of your testers on the outside of her hand. At that point, your employees began to berate her for trying on dark makeup. I’m my experience, eye brow pencils are dark. My daughter was told that she had no business trying on dark makeup. She was mocked, and was told “from a member of the black community” ( your employees used those words) to shop in a different section. Several of your employees laughed and scoffed and said they were going to go put on “white” foundation. What? This is incredible. My daughter is 13 and does not have a race filter of this kind. I hate that this happened to her. It’s ridiculous. I have three daughters and a daughter in law, they all shop at Sephora. We might be reconsidering that in the future.

  My experience at this Sephora location has been really disappointing. The overall atmosphere often feels unwelcoming almost like a “mean girl” vibe where I don’t feel comfortable asking for help or even just shopping without getting attitude. There are about five employees I’ve encountered who are genuinely kind and helpful, including a manager (I believe) with red hair, who stood out for being approachable. Unfortunately, aside from those few individuals, most of the staff I’ve interacted with have come across as dismissive or uninterested in helping customers. My most recent visit this past Saturday was especially frustrating. During checkout, the employee I interacted with made me feel unwelcome, which really took away from the experience. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as I would love to continue shopping here without feeling uncomfortable. I’m hoping for a more positive and customer-friendly experience on my next visit.

  Recently stopped by for some new makeup but they were understaffed. Most of the sample sponges were out so I couldn't really test few items.

  I came in two days before Christmas Eve I had to buy a last-minute gift. I waited in the store for about five minutes, looking for a cologne, but I couldn’t seem to find the right one. Lena came up to me. I explained to her what I needed and she found me three colognes in under five minutes took me about two minutes to pick one. Lena was super sweet. She gave me all of her attention. She helped me out fast. Found me what I wanted and you could tell that she cared. Thanks, Lena :)
