  Chio is AWESOME. She's so passionate about her craft and really takes piercing seriously; I'm such a wimp with piercings, but she made the process so easy and fun for me. The place is incredibly clean, staff is so sweet and accommodating and well-trained. It's totally worth paying a little extra.

  I had an appointment on July 29 to have my conch piercing jewelry changed after experiencing ongoing issues with jewelry purchased from this shop. I’ve bought three different pieces of jewelry here, and every one has caused a painful bump on the back of my ear. About two months ago, I came in to have my jewelry changed, and I was told to do warm saltwater compresses. I followed those instructions, but nothing improved. That’s why I made an appointment with my dermatologist, who suggested the issue could be the quality or type of metal and recommended a higher-quality jewelry brand. I purchased the recommended jewelry and brought it to the shop. The day before my appointment, I showed it to an employee and explained everything. She looked at it and scheduled me for the next day without mentioning that they don’t install outside jewelry. I work at the hospital and rearranged my work schedule for the appointment, only to arrive and be told by a different employee that they couldn’t use outside jewelry. If that’s your policy, I should have been told before the appointment was made. The lack of communication between staff wasted my time and was extremely frustrating. After multiple purchases and months of dealing with this issue, I expected much better customer service. I won’t be returning.

  My re tapering at another Studs location sent me to the moon and didn't heal as expected, so I decided to visit the one in Rice Village for another try. I am so glad I got to work with Chio. She is highly technical, skilled, and gentle! She calmed my nerves and honestly did such a remarkable job. She pierced my original hole that closed up, and I barely felt any pain. I am truly grateful.
