First of all do not choose Raquel. She messed up my hair badly and chopped most of it off and doesn’t use scissors really. More like thinning shears, etc. She also doesn’t use a blow dryer to do your hair and you leave frizzy in the back. She didn’t know how to do color or highlights and she had told me prior to my appt. she could do anything. I’m just mad I gave her my birthday money for her tip!! ugh!! It wasn’t till I got home did I see the mess she caused. Luckily I was able to call the salon and get rescheduled with a real pro Mari and the team on the left side. Mari redid my color and was able to do highlights and another helper explained I would have to grow my hair out to get the style I want. So now I have to wait for it to grow out from the butchered mess Raquel caused! Mathew the manager made it right and I’m so lucky he helped me and sent me to the right team which I will use from now on.
They were able to get me in same day! Great place, little pricey for a haircut but otherwise would highly recommend! I had my Balayage and haircut done in back to back appointments and was very impressed they were able to manage my time constraints.

I came to Turk with what felt like an impossible hair situation—severely damaged, brittle (yet somehow still very thick) hair and a budget to work within—and he truly made the impossible happen. Not only am I so happy with the results, but the entire experience was a blast from start to finish. Turk was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding of my situation, and never made me feel judged or discouraged. His talent speaks for itself, but it’s his kindness and genuine care for his clients that really stand out. I’m so grateful for his work and couldn’t recommend him more.

This was, without question, the worst salon experience I’ve had in Houston. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Rather than making customers feel welcome, they seemed annoyed by anything you asked them.
The service itself was equally disappointing. My stylist failed to properly remove the chemicals used during my appointment, leaving residue on my neck and the side of my face.
What made the experience even worse was the complete lack of transparency regarding pricing. I was hit with hidden fees and unexpected add-ons that were never clearly explained beforehand. When I questioned the charges, the front desk associate condescendingly told me that I “clearly didn’t read” the disclosure agreement. Instead of addressing a legitimate concern, they chose to blame the customer. He stated there was nothing they could do and the price was the price.
This salon appears far more interested in squeezing extra money out of clients than providing quality service or customer care. The attitude, lack of professionalism, poor communication, and careless service make it clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority.
