  I purchased a new earring for my cartilage piercing which I have had for over a DECADE. I was not able to put the piercing in myself and saw that they offer an appointment for $15 to put the jewelry in for you, since putting the back end first can be tricky. I came in for my appointment where I was walked to a back room. The woman first tried to put the earring in with her hands but commented that their post is a bit of a bigger gage than my current piercing. She then proceeded to get an instrument to help and just SHOVED IT IN, which was super painful and obviously irritated my piercing. I questioned if I had the right earring to allow for swelling as the post seemed small, she said everything was fine and I did not a longer post. A couple days later I ended up going to an actual tattoo and piercing parlor to help me change the earring, as the swelling had almost swallowed the earring. There they had mentioned: 1) she should have never shoved through my cartilage piercing and instead re-pierced it 2) the post was absolutely too short (like I had questioned) Now my longstanding piercing is causing me pain and I am not even wearing the earring I purchased from STUDS - complete waste of money and caused unnecessary damage to my ear. I will never be returning to studs - go somewhere that actually knows what they are doing!!!

  I had a great experience at STUDS. Everyone was very nice and professional. My piercer Blair was very helpful and had good insight on revamping some of my existing piercings.

  Overall, the people were very nice, but I could tell they Lack any real piercing knowledge. I went to change my tragus piercing from something simple to maybe a more interesting option and they gave me a few jewelry options and I had to go to a Real piercing place a few weeks later due to how much pressure their jewelry was putting on my tragus. Overall, I think they are fine for maybe just low piercings but any sort of complicated piercings I would avoid.

  I had a great visit, consultation and service. In was greeted upon entering. I had an appointment and was promptly checked in. I had a bit it time so I popped over to Starbucks. When I got back I was taken back for my consult. Blair was great. She listened and addressed my concerns. In the end, I received exactly what I wanted and I'm happy with the results.
