  Christine took the time and care to make sure my helix piercings were perfectly done! A month and a half later, my helix piercings have healed amazingly. She was lovely and loved the experience. Definitely recommend coming here for piercings by well-trained and wonderful nurses (:

  RIPOFF. Do not go here for piercing. Out the door for simple lobe piercing I ended up paying almost $400. Why? Because they make you buy their earrings, which are charged at double what you would pay elsewhere. Gold studs for $88 per stud, NOT the set. Just one, so $88x 2. And the post is NOT gold, it’s titanium. I had brought my own earrings and they said they could not sterilize them (sterilizing earrings for piercing is not a difficult thing to do). Their solution? Buy ours. No military discount offered. Then they have the nerve to ask for gratuity at the end of the service. Oh and you would think for as much as they charge, that the staff would at least be polite right? Wrong! The lady that pierced my ears was nice but the lady that first spoke with me when I walked in was completely rude and couldn’t be bothered with me. I will be filing a BBB complaint and whatever other complaints I can file cause this is unacceptable. The standard of care is not worth the prices they charge in this economy. I don’t need to pay an arm and a leg for a piercing just to have it done by some RN that couldn't hack it in the ER. Unacceptable.

  I got a helix piercing with Christine. She was amazing at explaining the process, and helping us feel comfortable and confident. It was quick and so professionally done. I also Riley was our initial greeter and was so nice and informative. I would highly recommend this place for your piercings where you feel like a person - not a number. Also at any age - there was a 10 year old, my daughter got her piercings at 30, and I am 54!

  I had a very disappointing experience at this Rowan store when I went in for an ear piercing. I booked an appointment in advance and arrived 15 minutes early, as recommended. Despite that, I still had to wait around 25–30 minutes. I understand that places can be short-staffed, and I was patient, but it would have been helpful to at least be informed about the delay. When I tried to share this feedback with one of the nurses after my appointment, another staff member approached in a very aggressive manner. Instead of addressing me directly, she questioned the nurse what the “problem” was. I had to step in and clarify that I wasn’t complaining, just offering feedback about the appointment system and lack of communication. Her response to that was “So what do you want now?” to me which came across as dismissive and rude, which made the situation uncomfortable. Unfortunately, that was just the beginning. The actual piercing experience did not meet expectations either. I explained clearly that I wanted a single upper lobe piercing and discussed my ear shape (which curves slightly) with the nurse. There was a lot of back and forth about placement and earrings. Right before clicking the device, the nurse hesitated and called over a senior staff member to confirm placement. This happened when the device was already positioned, which was honestly very alarming. It made me question her training, especially since this involves my body. Even after getting confirmation, the process didn’t go smoothly the wrong earring was used despite prior confirmation. We had to redo the process, which added to the discomfort. Overall, the experience felt unprofessional and poorly managed not to mention the amount they charge which in my opinion is high for the service I received. From long wait times and lack of communication to staff behavior and mistakes during the piercing itself, everything added up to a very negative visit. I chose Rowan because of its reputation and expected a safe, professional experience. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet those expectations. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both customer service and staff training, as this is not something customers should have to worry about when getting a piercing.
