- MPMolly Palmer1 day ago5.0It’s become a tradition for me to visit Maria Tash every time I’m in Dallas and treat myself to something sparkly. This visit, Spencer placed a gorgeous opal in my Tragus after he pierced it. His technique is totally dialed and it was practically painless. He is a realist and will let you know if the piercing you want won’t work with your anatomy. Like what happened with me and my dream of a double forward helix which I’ve had before but it didn’t heal right. After his careful eval it was determined that there is simply not enough space in my ear for it to heal properly. I appreciate his realness and OCD perfectionist approach to his art. I’m already excited for my next visit!

I came in with irritation on my daith, and she gently switched out my jewelry — completely painless. What really stood out was how well she listens and never judges. I was going back and forth about whether to remove my daith altogether or just change the jewelry, and she was so patient as I worked through the decision, listening and offering honest guidance without any pressure. Faith is honest, empathetic, and full of charisma. She takes the time to genuinely help rather than rush you through. I trust her completely. I will never see anyone else for my piercings. Highly, highly recommend! I Love Me Some Faith.

Are your earrings sold as singles or pairs?
Maria Tash jewelry is sold as singles unless otherwise stated. To order a pair, please add two of the items to your cart. Our large earrings are the only items we sell in pairs. These items are pictured as a pair and the product description also states that they’re sold as a pair.
What size jewelry works best for me?
Our experience involves you pairing one-on-one with our stylists to completely guide you through your styling and piercing. There are multiple sizes to our jewelry, but our team will make sure that you are properly sized and confident.
What is the difference between a threaded and traditional stud?
Threaded backings use a screw-on/off design that makes the earring stay more securely in the ear. This is our standard style of jewelry. A traditional backing is also available. This is the traditional style of earring where you have a butterfly back that is separate and pushes onto the post to hold the jewelry in place.
Do I need to book an appointment?
Appointments are available for piercings but walk-ins are always welcome. Appointments are not required for fittings and installs or purchasing jewelry.
Can I be pierced with my own jewelry?
Due to sterilization needs, we do not pierce with jewelry that is not Maria Tash. The best selections from our full collection will be available for styling and piercing. Our styles come in white, yellow, rose, and black gold. You're welcome to bring in your existing Maria Tash pieces and consult with a piercer to see if it can be used for an initial piercing.
How many piercings can I get in one session?
We recommend up to four piercings per session, but this is dependent on the piercings you are thinking about and your anatomy. Our stylists and piercers can best consult with you during your visit.
Can I be pierced if I am under 18?
Yes, please see piercing services page for each Maria Tash location. You must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and you both must bring ID with you. If the parent/legal guardian and child have different surnames, we require further identification to confirm guardianship i.e. a birth certificate. Please check each store policy as age when earlobe and cartilage piercing is permitted may vary by region.
Do you pierce with a needle or a piercing gun?
All of our piercings are made with single use sterile needles rather than piercing guns. We do not use piercing guns as they are not very accurate and cannot be properly sterilized.
