  Editing my review after the salon called and we had a productive conversation. For transparency, the salon offered to credit the difference for a future service. I left my original review below. I still enjoyed the service and will be sure to go back. Original review: I actually really enjoyed my haircut and the service itself, but I was deeply off-put by the pricing experience at checkout. Before booking, I called to ask about pricing and specifically asked whether the cost would vary based on hair length, since my hair extends past my shoulders. I was told that a cut, wash, and style with a Tier 1 stylist would be $67 and that it was a standard one-hour appointment. At no point was I told that pricing could increase if the appointment ran longer. However, at checkout, I was charged $87. I was told that the $67 price only applies to a "typical" one-hour appointment and that an additional fee was added because my service took 1.5 hours. This was surprising, as neither the receptionist nor anyone during my consultation explained that the service was effectively billed by appointment length or that my hair might require additional time and cost. The overall experience also felt more sales-oriented than I expected, which, combined with the unexpected charge at checkout, left me uncomfortable with the business side of the visit. To be clear, I was very happy with my haircut and the service I received. If the pricing structure and potential additional charges had been communicated upfront, I likely would have felt very differently. Unfortunately, the lack of pricing transparency means I won't be returning.
