  I made an appointment a month ago to downsize and get a new jewelry piece for my helix that I got done in another state. I showed up to my appointment 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork. They didn't have the jewelry I wanted and I was told "Oh we won't get that in until tomorrow", which seemed ironic, but nonetheless we found one that worked. I was told the piercer was just finishing up. Unfortunately, I was then told that 3 more times... I think I got unlucky because it looked like they were training new employees. It was like they had one person piercing, three giving a tour, and one managing the front. Why that was the breakdown when they had multiple customers waiting in the lobby, I don't know? After waiting 40 minutes and still no sign of a piercer (but having heard the whole new employee tour!) I had to go back to work and said to please cancel my appointment. This was a Monday at noon. Not a particularly busy time so I'm not sure why they would think it reasonable for a customer with an appointment to wait 40 minutes but that's ok. I'll take my business elsewhere.

  I'm really disappointed with my experience here at Studs. First I want to state that the piercers did amazing and my review has nothing to do with the service, but the cost. I went in to get 4 piercings and spent upwards of $400-$500. I was really happy with how they looked and the results, and even happier when they told me that when I came back after they healed to get them sized down it would be free! Fast forward to my piercings having healed after about 6 months (one took a bit longer, around 7 months) and I go in to get my free size down and ended up paying $60 to size down. Its really disappointing that I was promised a free service and then ended up spending even more for a service that is necessary to keep the piercings from snagging on stuff because they are too loose (I actually lost one this way). They even semi-gaslit me into thinking I was wrong, but my friend who came with me for a size down who also got a piercing at a New York location was disappointed too as she was also told that her size down would be free. Again, I want to say the piercers did an excellent job and I think the products they have here are really cute and great quality. However, getting charged for something I was told would be free is really, really disappointing. Just my experience!

  Experience was 10/10. I got three piercing with Ena and they were fantastic! Made me feel comfortable and at ease the entire time. They are amazing at piercing and the pain was really not bad! The shop is so clean and welcoming. I did have to wait a little bit after my appointment time but I dont mind waiting at all for great service. Once they get you to the back it goes really quick! I even had a question about my piercing after i had already left. When i came back into the store later in the day they saw me right away and answered all of my questions. Needless to say i am already planning more piercings and will 100% be going back to them!
