I asked for a gel pedicure with no water (color change, listed on their menu) and was told they “have to” do a full pedicure. Found a +$20 charge for the gel. It should be a bundle not a surprise charge. For my full set, I requested thin, natural acrylics. They said no and got the manager immediately which was unnecessary escalation. The manager said “it has to be this way,” but the first set was ~4x too thick. It looked like cow hooves when it should be credit card thin. After pushing back, a new tech fixed it so it clearly was possible. Designs are $5 per finger. I got 3 ($15) but was charged $20. Also just noticing but they charged me for a solar nail manicure..I got acrylics with gel color, nothing solar about that. Overall, this felt like forced upselling, unnecessary limitations on lower cost services, and small overcharges that rely on customers not wanting to argue. They didn’t even show me my receipt just said a number at me and I had to ask to see it!! Review that receipt line for line ladies!!
