Cho did my hair last week on Friday. Originally making the appointment, I was told it was Thursday afternoon, then when I called to confirm prices, they told me it would be Friday afternoon instead. I called and confirmed a price for hair gloss being $20.00 and $30.00 haircut. Possibly a little more if style and wash was necessary. I went in thinking probably $80.00 total including a tip- this is still out of my normal budget but it’s been 3 years and I wanted to treat myself. I go in and she seems quiet and focused, asks me what I would like and I explained and gave her several pictures to go off of in reference to the tinted gloss I asked for and haircut style. I washed my hair prior and she cut it, slightly shorter than I expected but I told her that it my hair was damaged, take it off. I’m not upset at the haircut itself. I’m upset about the semi permanent hair dye that she used and not the gloss treatment I requested. She didn’t discuss any prices whatsoever or ask me about budget. She threw on whatever she could without discussion. After washing my hair the first time, she put the “gloss” aka semi permanent hair dye on, brushed it through my hair after applying for another 5-10 minutes and then said she’d be back in 30 minutes. Gloss treatments don’t take that long, but I didnt want to question her because maybe it was a different product. SHE CAME BACK 47 MINUTES LATER. My scalp was itching and burning, and after washing and drying my hair I’m seeing my hair fall in my face. What was supposed to be medium vibrant auburn chocolate color turned to be an almost violet jet black darkest brown possible mixture. I explained my frustration calmly and all she did was try to make me feel better about how good it looked and I kept telling her that the color she did was not at all what I asked for. I told her it’ll be fine I’ll suck it up and maybe it’ll wash out later. I go to the front desk and after ringing everything up, I’m left with a $140.00 bill. I want my money back. The color isn’t washing out, I’ve washed it 6 times it’s still VERY dark and I’m no longer coming to this salon. I’d like a call from the manager TODAY. First picture is before. Second is today, after washing 6 times with dawn, and the last was my goal gloss.

I stopped by the salon on Sunday 6/14 around 3pm and couldn’t get anyone to come to the counter. I saw a stylist at the first chair but I was never greeted or acknowledged and yes she saw me and I heard people laughing in the back. I waited over 6 minutes before walking off and the lady behind me had already left. I called several times trying to get anyone to help. You need a bell for the counter unless you’re intentionally trying not to work. TERRIBLE service and business practices now at this salon. Disappointing…
