- LLLori6 days ago1.0Not a friendly establishment. From the minute we walked in it was like welcoming us was a chore as Stylist Beth seemed visibly agitated to schedule a walk-in despite the sign saying walk-ins welcome. We didn't mind the wait, but she obviously wanted to deter us from staying . I inquired about a shampoo and dry and she said the shampoo was $9 and the blowdry addition would be $45 for a total of $53 and added again that it'd be 30 minutes. This would normally be a normal conversation but her tone was so irritated. It felt as if she was trying to talk me out of staying instead of happy to have our business. We arrived two hours before their close time so I don't know why we weren't welcome. I ended up just leaving because her tone felt like she didn't want the business. Such a downer when I was really excited to try this salon while we were on vacation. Disappointing.

I told her I wanted a layered pixie cut even showed her pictures several times after her not doing it right. Doent even measure from the scalp up with a inch 1/2 rule. On cutting it. Been better off to have put a bowl on my head and started cutting. Been 4 days now and still can't do anything with my hair. Does these people here in this town even go to beauty school? $20 shot to the wind. And can't afford to get anyone to fix it until next pay day. Avoid avoid

Was humiliated a few days ago when the stylist refused service to my cousin and I because she “thought” she saw lice. I informed her I had a past issue with it but it was gone and clear. I wash my hair everyday and so it’s just very dry. But get this, I went to a lice clinic a few days later because I was freaking out about it and decided to trust her and thought I had lice. They said I was COMPLETELY CLEAR AND HAD NO SIGN OF LICE. Just a dry scalp. I’ve seen other reviews that they refused service to someone else for the same reason while it was just dry skin flakes. The stylists were busy and were complaining about not having lunch. I believe they just didn’t want to cut out hair and made an excuse. Do better Great Clips.

Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
