Absolutely Disgusting and Unacceptable Conduct at Sephora Inside Kohl’s I am appalled by what I witnessed at this Sephora location. An employee was actively applying a full face of makeup to herself while on the clock and assisting customers. At one point, I watched her hold a foundation bottle directly against her face and pump product onto her skin. When I walked through the department a second time, she was still doing her makeup, this time with makeup brushes and what appeared to be concealer or blush products in hand. This is absolutely disgusting and raises serious concerns about sanitation, cross-contamination, product misuse, and the integrity of merchandise within this store. Whether these were testers, retail products, or personal cosmetics, this behavior is completely inappropriate on the sales floor of a beauty retailer. If store products were being used, it also raises questions about inventory accountability and potential theft. I approached the employee directly and told her that I work in the industry and had personally witnessed her dispensing foundation directly onto her face. I made it clear that the practice was unsanitary and that I intended to report it. What makes this situation even more concerning is that a manager was present and entered the Sephora department twice around the same time. Although I cannot confirm whether he witnessed her behavior, it certainly raises questions about the level of supervision and standards being enforced. Where is the accountability? Where is the commitment to sanitation, professionalism, and consumer safety? This is not simply an employee being unprofessional. It is a serious concern that compromises customer confidence in the cleanliness and integrity of this location. Sephora and Kohl’s management need to investigate this incident immediately, determine which products were involved, and take decisive disciplinary action, including termination if warranted. Customers should not have to question whether the cosmetics they are purchasing or testing have been handled in an unsanitary manner. This behavior is unacceptable, and corporate leadership needs to address it.

After being treated so rudely at Ulta, next door, I went to Sephora instead to spend my money. Molly at Sephora was amazing and was so helpful and she knew exactly what I wanted. She brightened my day, after having a horrible experience at Ulta.

Im finally fed up enough with this store to write a review- every time I go in here, I get ignored by the employees. Today I was standing at the register waiting to check out while two employees continued their conversation without acknowledging me. Its convenient that there is an Ulta right down the strip mall; made walking out that much easier. ✌🏼

The lady gave me all this stuff and none of it worked. The only thing she was interested in was making a buck! Will never shop in that department again. I spent almost $200 for nothing!!!!!!!!!. That department is a JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!
