We're proud to say that over 35% of our products are naked (packaging-free) and most of our packaging is made from recycled and recyclable materials. Our manufacturing facilities are located on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh, as well as the lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Anishnabeg, Chippewa, Haudenosaunee, and Wendat. She was diligently helping another customer when I came in and excused herself to help me out. I thought I had read online that Lush does a birthday incentive but Laurie informed me they don’t at this time. Bummer! That didn’t stop Laurie. She asked me what I usually get, I told her, and then she went back and looked through their samples. I want to make note of the fact that she didn’t hand me whatever was on top of the pile. She spent some time going through it, finding things I’d like based on what I told her. She gave me the samples and gave me a bigger bag to put all my shopping into (I had gone to Sephora also so it was nice to consolidate). She was so kind and as soon as I left, she went right back to providing excellent service to the other customer. Kudos to Laurie and the whole store. Keep up the kindness it means a lot these days.
