  I wish I could give this store less than a 1-star review. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the Kohl’s Sephora. I came in simply trying to exchange a gift my boyfriend purchased for me, and the associate and manager were completely unhelpful. They insisted they couldn’t process the exchange because they couldn’t find my rewards account or purchase history, and acted like there was nothing they could do. After leaving, I called a standalone Sephora store, and within minutes they were able to figure out the issue and explain my options. The difference in customer service was night and day. The Sephora representative I spoke with was friendly, knowledgeable, and actually wanted to help solve the problem instead of turning me away. It’s frustrating when a manager and associate make no effort to assist a customer, especially when another Sephora location was able to resolve the situation so easily. If you’re expecting helpful customer service, I would recommend going to a standalone Sephora instead.

  I bought a mascara a week ago. When I took it home and tried it, it was completely dry. When I tried to take it back yesterday, the girl at the counter said she couldn’t return it without my receipt. My fault I threw it away because I have never had to return anything from Sephora. I have also never shopped at the one at Kohls. She refused to let me return it, can’t look up my purchase with my phone number, which I am a member or my debit card. She basically implied there isn’t anything I could do. She didn't offer to replace it, she took the mascara wand out and looked at it - it was dry dry. She tried to hand it back to me since she wouldn’t return it, I told her to keep it cuz what am I gonna do with it??? I hope she checked the other mascaras to see if they were okay to sell! Super unimpressed with this location.

  Went in to get a fragrance for Christmas because it was advertised as 20% off. Went to check out and the advertised sale price wasn't available to me because im not some insider. Told them they can keep the shit i dont want it. That's deceptive advertising menards just lost a lawsuit over their sale ads. Plus the lady that eventually showed up to the counter had an attitude. I think I'll keep my teen daughter out of this chain of stores
