- DGDanielle GunterMay 8, 20261.0My daughter is six and has had her hair cut twice. The second time being today. The first time I thought maybe it was a bad day, and decided to give it another shot. Ive always had great experiences at other Great Clips locations. While the cut is good, which highlights experienced stylist..customer service is also a part of the experience. All of the stylists here suffer greatly from the looks of it. All present with unenthused, miserable emotion on their faces. Both times my daughter has been so excited for the experience and will hop in the chair smiling and giggling and is met with instant RBF (iykyk). No smiles, no enthusiasm just straight up miserable. It breaks my heart to see my childs excitement shot down. I can understand maybe not knowing how to interact with children; but this was a complete lack of care and consideration both times. Its not hard to even fake a smile and not even that was given. No greeting when you walk in just a “did you check in?” in a monotone voice. Then the stylist says “do you want to add layers?’’ My child has super curly hair so i said “im not sure, what do you think?” She says “no, probably not” so whats the point? Were you just pushing to raise a cost? Im not seeing the point. I paid for a wash as we had things to do after and again, curly hair. She proceeds to blowdry regularly an extremely curly haired child, so we walk out with a huge frizzy mess. Unprofessional, and seemed intentional. Wont be back.

My hair is curly, but blows out straight. The pixie I got looks good both when I let it air dry curly and when I blow it out straight. The cut was just $12 and I tipped $10. Very pleased and recommend.

I tried to get my 2 year old a hair cut and the worker turned us way an hour before closing before she claimed there was an hour wait time with only one person waiting ahead of us. The workers were not welcoming or friendly. Go somewhere else for hair cuts!

Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
