My son went in with medium-to-long hair, and before the cut even started, I clearly explained to the stylist what had gone wrong the last time so it wouldn’t be repeated. She acted like she understood, but then completely ignored everything we asked for. When she finished, the haircut looked uneven and poorly blended. I politely asked if she could fix it and blend it better. Again, she agreed—but instead of fixing it, she cut it even shorter and made it worse. The next morning, my son was in tears getting ready for school because he was so embarrassed by how bad it looked. That alone says everything. This is the SECOND time this has happened at a Great Clips store, and I won’t be giving them another chance. I did get a refund, but that doesn’t undo how upsetting the experience was. Thankfully, we went to Sports Clips down the street where Stella completely turned things around. She fixed what she could, and while it ended up shorter than my son wanted, he’s no longer embarrassed—and actually feels good about going back there. Great Clips seriously needs to listen to their customers and train their stylists better. This was a disappointing and avoidable experience.

- CFCasey FredaApr 1, 20261.0Walked in to have my 3 people including my 80 year grandma, guy walked in before us got sat right away didnt have appt, then we got pushed behind 5 kids that walked in after us when I walked in there was noone on the screen and while we were checking in 5 people popped up that signed in online. They walked in 5 min after us and got served first. Unprofessional and unacceptable service. If im there and checking in and someone checked in online while im checking in I still should be served first.

If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
