- HBHeather Brown6 days ago1.0Went to get my hair in a double french braid and was refused service because they dont have a way to charge for it! But they have pricing up for hair styles??? Make it make sense. Its fine though they lost out on some good easy money because we had seven more gonna come and get their hair braided for Bike Week! Manager was rude so wont ever be back thankfully I dont live here! The Great Clips in North Carolina do it regularly for me!

Been to GC all over east coast and yes i know of the preferences but never heard of an absolute rule. I walked and they didnt care. And the salon was otherwise empty. Yup. Your business. Your rules. Enjoy those empty chairs!!!

- GMGunner MarshApr 25, 20261.0Terrible haircut, went in with long hair, wanted a simple fade and a small combover nothing crazy pretty normal haircut. This lady had zero idea what she was doing told her how i usually style it and everything and she pretty much gave me a buzz cut. She literally treated me as an experiment. Saying maybe if I do this it will blend and she would just do it till my whole head was at a 1 guard. I told her one on the sides fade into a combover not buzzed cut. Very unprofessional terrible haircut. Seemed to not know what she was doing as well. She even kept stabbing my head with the guards cause she was jabbing instead of smoothly running it through. VERY DISAPPOINTED!! GO TO SUPERCUTS, SPORT CLIPS, ANY BARBERSHOP, JUST DONT GO HERE!!!
- HCHayley ConradApr 18, 20261.0They butchered my husband hair, he came in asking for a trim on his mullet and she shaved the back of his head and did not fade the sides causing a "bowl" effect. And we still had to pay for the hair cut. Do not recommend.

When is Online Check-In available?
Online Check-In becomes available five minutes after the salon opens. We accept Online Check-Ins up to the point where the estimated wait time is as long as the salon will remain open, or 30 minutes before closing time at the latest.
Can I use Online Check-In for all types of services?
Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
Do Great Clips salons sell haircare products?
Yes, Great Clips offers three lines of its exclusively branded haircare and styling products for men, women, and kids, including Solutions by Great Clips®, Tea Tree Solutions by Great Clips®, and GRIT @ Great Clips™.
