  My daughter had her ears pierced at Rowan in Cranston yesterday. Nurse Kate was outstanding. She treated my daughter with real care and respect, made sure she was completely comfortable, and explained every step of the process in a calm, clear way. The studio was extremely clean, and Kate was careful and thorough about maintaining a sterile environment. She walked us through how they reduce infection risk and made sure we understood the aftercare. She also checked in with me about placement and didn’t move forward until I felt fully comfortable. The whole experience was smooth, reassuring, and very family‑friendly. I would highly recommend Rowan Cranston and especially Nurse Kate.

  My daughter had her ears pierced with a needle today. The piercing itself was fine, but then the checkout part was the problem. I was stunned to hear that it came to over $240 for both ear piercings and earrings! Not to mention I was asked “do you want to leave a tip?!” The lack of pricing transparency and the fact that no one informed me of the cost before or during the appointment is unacceptable This is what I had to figure out on my own in regards to pricing: Painted on the wall was Device piercing, that had a “single” &“double” price listed. The needle piercing only had one price listed. No where did it specify that the needle price was for single or double. We were shown the earring to choose from in the display boxes, and the way the earrings were priced made it look like they were sold as a pair. There was no signage indicating that the price listed, was for each single earrings. I will not be recommending this business and I let others know about getting pricing before getting the service, and that the signage is misleading for the needle price and the earrings being priced individually, even though they’re displayed as a set. That is my honest review.

  Took my daughter for her 8th birthday today to get her ears pierced. The atmosphere is bright friendly and hygienic. The entire staff was so patient sweet and accommodating. You can tell that the staff genuinely cares about what they're doing. As a mom with a phobia of needles this wasn't an easy task for me but my daughter was determined so we made sure it got done they were so accommodating and understanding they even offered me an ice pack to help me through the whole process I will never take my kids anywhere else again to get an ear piercing if I could give them a six out of five I would

  Kate was sincerely amazing: kind, clear, Mom-like and calm, both with my teen and with a little 6-year-old who came in after us & was extremely nervous. Having a trained nurse do the work makes all the difference. We've been two other places, including a specialty piercing place on Wickenden St. in Providence (don't try it with your kid -- not appropriate, not professional, not even able to pierce both sides straight). Rowan is a world above.

  10/10 absolutely incredible! I brought my daughter in last week to get her ears pierced for her 4th birthday and we had an amazing experience. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. They made her feel so special on her special day! They have an awesome team of nurses, everything was extremely clean, and they talked us through every step of the way. She has very sensitive skin and I was happy to learn their earrings are all hypoallergenic. My girl loves her little butterflies and has shown them off to everyone we see. We couldn’t be happier with our visit!
