  Went in for my first professional hair coloring. I have been working with Halie for years so I didn’t expect any issues. I was going for a black roots with blue tips look and it didn’t go as planned…what ended up happening was the blue turned green. Halie discussed options for me to hopefully get it back to more of what I was envisioning but honestly, I liked the outcome with the green better. She was very helpful throughout my entire hair coloring service and answered my questions about what products to use to keep my color for longer and future pricing for touch ups. She always goes above and beyond for her clients and is a very personable, kind, and helpful individual. I cannot wait to book my next service with her and continue to be a loyal customer!

  Never again will i come to this one. I have a wedding to attend to literally tomorrow! They called me 30 minutes prior to my appointment to cancel it. I asked to get someone else they told me the other lady left at 3pm but y'all close at 6pm ? Make it make sense. I understand people get sick but to not have a back up is absurd. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

  My stylist was AALIYAH and she did an amazing job on my daughter hair. Will definitely go back to her. She was so nice and patient with my daughter.

  i had wanted to touch up my bangs and take some length off my hair. earlier in the day my regular stylist at a different salon canceled and i needed my hair cut. so in a pinch i chose the hair cuttery on white street and the next available stylist to cut my hair. the stylist that did the haircut cut my bangs leaving length in case she wanted me to cut more. they were uneven and i asked to cut them just a tad more to have them aligned with top/mid of my eyebrows. i pointed on my face to showed her the length where i wanted the bangs and she ending up cutting more than what i wanted. my bangs are now about a centimeter or more above my brows and are way too short. my bangs are also a bit lopsided in some areas and don’t follow previous cut pattern as i still have hair thats longer from my previous cut when my bangs are sectioned. stylist seemed very timid and unsure when cutting my hair, especially when it came to the bangs. the length taken off the rest of my hair is fine along with layers, but overall not very happy with the bang cut and face framing i received and the overpriced cost. i paid $49 and tipped (to be nice) for something i could’ve done a better job at. and the worst part is that my birthday next week and im stuck with this hair cut until my hair grows back. all i wanted a freshened up haircut to look cute for my birthday. i will probably be wearing a headband or hat to work and in public until the length of my bangs grow to where they should be. i will not be returning to this hair cuttery on white street or having this stylist cut my hair if im in a pinch.

  Went in for a same day appointment today. I wasn't sure what to expect. Aaliyah was absolutely lovely! I told her about the situation I was coming out of and why I hadn't had a haircut or eyebrow wax in over a year. She was so calm and compassionate and I appreciated that more than she could possibly know. My hair came out just as I wanted it and she took her time fixing the mess that were my eyebrows. I will definitely be back. Thank you Aaliyah for being so kind and so good at your job!
