  As a customer of sunsational tan for 16 years I've had money issues with them before. For instance, I remember one time unfreezing my account in the middle of the month but the owner insisted on charging me for the full month. Also there were other little issues money-wise but just recently on June 1st I went in and unfroze my account. I learned that day that the level I was on (Silver) was down to two beds now. But I also saw they already charged the $5.50 for the frozen account. I unfroze my acct. and paid the $65.99 as well. Asked about a refund for the $5.50. The girl suggested that shouldn't be a problem and she would let the Mgr. know. After a few days, I inquired about the refund, that's when I was told that the $5.50 would go on my account as a credit to use towards upgrades. If any of you already been there and you know when you freeze your account over the winter when you come back you have available credit from your account being frozen, so I'm already sitting on $90 of funds that I will probably not use. I declined , I wanted the $5.50 put back on the credit card. Well Sarah the so called Mgr. didn't like that and said " you know what I'm just canceling your whole membership right now. I'm going to refund you your $5.50 and your $65.99 and your account is canceled effective immediately. So I want to know who thinks that makes sense? A 16-year customer and you don't want to give back $5.50 that you know was due as a refund because it was charged incorrectly. I'm only glad to say Good riddance. There are many other tanning salons that don't try to rip off the customer.

  Had the best experience at Sunsational tans! Used their red light bed and massage bed and felt so recovered and relaxed. The staff was so sweet and helpful! Can’t wait to come back again!

What stood out most is the overall vibe: • very neighborhood, approachable energy • not intimidating if you’re new • easy to pop in and out of your day It’s also been around for a long time and has multiple locations in the Pittsburgh area, which explains why it feels so established and routine-friendly.
