  This Sephora is in Philly Chestnut st. Around 4pm.....it was in and pop-in. Visiting from Md. Mother's Day and birthday celebration. The customer service very special and so helpful. Received a nice gift from one of the sales associates there. The attention I received was special. It made my weekend in Philly memorable.

  The security guard is a horrible and mean person. I arrived 7 minutes before closing to pick up a specific item that would take me 2 min to check out and he shut the door in my face in a a very aggressive manner. I will not come back to this location.

  they dont assist with shade matching on saturdays and sundays. i was told this today, a saturday. i brought my friend here to buy products to start her makeup journey. we decided to pass on the makeup shopping after that. after i got home i contacted corporate client services and they said that should not be the policy at that store. hopefully no other makeup newbies their time going there believing they would receive good help on a saturday or sunday.

  I had a mixed experience during my visit to Sephora today. Aliza was absolutely amazing. She informed me about the complimentary gifts available with Prada purchases and guided me through everything seamlessly. Because of her, I felt confident making multiple purchases, including additional items specifically to qualify for a gift. Her professionalism and kindness truly made the experience enjoyable. Unfortunately, my interaction with Lauren, the Prada sales agent, was the complete opposite. From the beginning, her attitude came across as dismissive and unwelcoming. When it came time to receive the promotional gift, she appeared irritated and made me feel uncomfortable for asking to choose from the available options. I was told to simply take what was given, despite making an additional purchase with the understanding that I could select a gift. The interaction felt disrespectful and unnecessary, especially since I had been clearly guided otherwise by another associate. Aliza even apologized for the situation, which speaks volumes. If it weren’t for Aliza’s exceptional service, I would not have completed my purchases. I genuinely wanted to leave a five-star review, but this experience made that impossible. Lauren lied about her name during the original interaction and said it was Nicole so clearly she knew she was not given great customer service.

  Avoid this store at all costs!! I was there on a Friday at 11am. I had to pick up something quickly as I was on my way to a meeting. I got in line- it was about 15 people- and there were only 2 people on the registers. About 10 other people were running around filling pick orders, and a few more were floating to help customers. At no point did they call for backup. Some stores have associates on the floor who can process small, card-only transactions. This will help with long lines, but they don’t have those either. I waiting in line for what felt like forever, since some of those at the cash wrap had returns, etc. They really need to figure out a better ratio of cashiers to customers.
