  If you have natural hair, beware this is not the place for you. I went in for a roller rod set, and it took my hairstylist eight hours to do my hair. They ended up chemically altering my hair without my permission. They attempted to blame it on my texture, even though I’ve gotten roller rod sets professionally done before elsewhere. I would’ve rather been told the person didn’t have the ability to do it. Instead of receiving the roller rod set, I heard another hairstylist whisper to my hairstylist to “do what they do to people who get Jerri curls” and while it kept looking like foam was being added to my hair, it turns out they were in the process of chemically altering my hair without my permission or knowledge. They gave me a “silk press” which it turns out was likely a keratin treatment. As soon as I realized what took place I cancelled my follow up appointment. It wasn’t until I went to another salon a month later that I was able to confirm what was done to my hair. I tried washing my hair several times over the course of months and it refuses to revert back to my texture. I still have parts of my hair that are straight to this day four months later. And my hair is still not my natural texture yet.
