  If I could leave zero stars, I would. I have never had a more disastrous experience at a salon in my life. The JCPenney Salon at this location is a complete chaotic mess, and I highly recommend avoiding it unless you want your hair ruined. Inexperienced Staff: I booked an appointment for a simple trim and highlight, but the stylist clearly had very little professional experience. She butchered my hair—it was completely uneven, and she seemed lost throughout the entire process. I brought in inspiration photos, which were totally ignored. She over-processed my hair, leaving it dry and damaged, and the color was spotted and unprofessional. It felt like I was dealing with a student, not a licensed professional. Horrible Management & Bad Customer Service: When I tried to raise my concerns, the manager was absolutely terrible—arrogant, dismissive, and clearly didn't care about customer satisfaction. Instead of fixing the mess her staff made, she was rude and argued with me, attempting to blame me for the damage her stylist caused. The management in this salon is non-existent, and they do not hold their staff to any sort of professional standard. Conclusion: I paid money to have my hair ruined and had to go elsewhere to get it fixed. The overall service is unprofessional, the staff is untrained, and the manager is unprofessional. Save your money and your hair and go to a real salon. Bad Management: Rude, unprofessional, and fails to resolve issues Inexperienced Staff: Lack of basic knowledge (bad sectioning, poor color application) Customer Service: Non-existent. Unhelpful and hostile to feedback

  We paid for a stylist to do corn rows in my son's hair. What we got is going to end up falling out in less than a week. I don't think I have ever seen braids this loose in my life.

  Giving three stars because the end result wasn’t very bad. I decided to give this place another try after going in April and having an okay-ish experience. The person that did my hair took so long. Literally took an hour plus just applying my color. I don’t have very long or thick hair..normally it takes other salons 30 minutes in my experience. I understand that they could’ve been a newer employee, but I also said I didn’t want my hair blow dried because of how long it already took. They didn’t listen and did that anyway. Then I also saw some extra charge on the receipt after I got home that I hadn’t been aware of. They do an okay job. You just have to have a lot of time, and be prepared for extra fees.
