  We were so excited to take our daughter to Rowan for her first ear piercing, but unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with the experience. Given the cost of the needle piercing and earrings, we expected a much higher level of care and professionalism. During the piercing, the individual performing the procedure had to insert the needle into my daughter's left earlobe twice because she said she "lost" the hole. This resulted in a significant amount of bleeding for a small hole, and pressure had to be held. She explained that my daughter had moved, but in reality, she barely flinched. My biggest concern is whether having to insert the needle twice may have caused unnecessary trauma or enlarged the piercing hole. If Rowan is going to offer needle piercings, it is important that the procedure be performed by experienced and well-trained staff. To make matters worse, blood was left on my daughter's ear and the back of her neck after the piercing. I had to ask for alcohol wipes and clean the blood off myself. This was supposed to be a special milestone for our daughter, but instead it became a stressful and disappointing experience. I hope you will review this incident and ensure your staff receive the training and oversight necessary to provide the level of care your customers expect. There was no management there to speak to about my concerns and I will be following up.

  Shelly and Tanya were great! So helpful and friendly. The staff is amazing. However the business itself is severely overpriced. I spent $300 for a 2nd lobe piercing for 2 ears. the eareings are just a gold overlay with cz. I probably won't get another piercing here due to the overpricing. I get five stars to the girls, two stars to the business so overall the averages three
