- NCNicole CrawfordMay 6, 20261.0My 7yo daughter was so excited to get her first big chop today and the stylist we saw just ruined the experience. I only ever go to salons but since this was for my young daughter, I figured Great Clips would be fine. Never again. The stylist was so rude, not just to me but to a sweet old man who came in too. We asked for collarbone length hair, just past her shoulders. She even spoke up and asked for it to be shorter. This woman said she would do it after she was done the initial cut. It was all a dry cut as well, no mist. Nothing. Anyway, here’s a photo that is clearly not the length we asked for. I will never step foot in here again. I did speak up before leaving that it’s actually not what we asked for but there were 4 other people waiting after us and I also didn’t trust her at that point to execute a proper cut. I don’t recommend.

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
