You get what you pay for. As the saying goes, cheap isn’t always good and good isn’t always cheap. I knew what to expect and managed my expectations. My mens haircut was $7 and I tipped the student $5. I would definitely try it again but with a different student. If you don’t mind being a training subject, the low price is definitely a plus. I will also add that the students are supervised and the lead instructor does inspect, touch up if needed and monitor the cut. I’m a partially bald older guy so my “style” is pretty basic, faded clipper cut. No desire to spend $30+ at most shops for a basic men’s cut without a wash and blow dry.
