  checking out at this sephora might've been the strangest/worst experience of shopping in any store ever. myself and 2 other friends went to checkout, mind you we only had 1 item each and we were there on a thursday at 6 pm, us and 2 other shoppers were in the store. collectively it took about 20 mins for us to wait in line and finish the checkout process while there were 2 cashiers. when i went up to checkout, the cashier lady simply told me to put my email into a work tablet without DISCLOSING to me (or my friends who had to do the exact same thing) what it was for. turns out she was making us sign up for a kohls membership account, the tablet we put our email into did not disclose that either. The cashier went to the extent of asking me to sign into the Kohls guest wifi so i can tell her the verification number from my email to make an account that i didnt even agree to do in the first place. we all initially assumed it was for them to have our sephora account so we could get points but it wasnt. besides the cashiers not disclosing that information to us, they were just really awkward and weird to talk to and made the experience for us really uncomfortable. its hard to explain but they carried a odd energy. we are a very patient and understanding group of girls when it comes to customer service and we understand the difficulties that come with working retail, but this was genuinely just weird

  I purchased a fragrance that visibly did not function correctly and had black liquid that came out with each pump. The first time I went to exchange it I was told it was not carried at Sephora and I probably purchased it at Ulta. I only shop at these two stores, so it was possible. I went to Ulta they told me it was a Sephora product. I came back to Sephora and tried to exhange a second time and because I didn't have a receipt and couldn't pin point the exact day of purchase they would not exchange it. Then the staff seemed amused. Very disappointed.

  Terrible customer service. I was acknowledged, then was asked to wait after another lady asked for help. I waited over 10 mins with no help. There was also another person working and she didn't assist at all. They need more help, or customer service training.

  The whole process from finding what I was looking for to buying it was easy and convenient. The only thing I would change is that their inventory was short on what I’m guessing are higher-demand items. I know it’s in a Kohl’s so it’s going to be a smaller store than a whole Sephora department store but still.

  No benefit of being a rewards member. Also they are always out of stock for free samples. Even if u go and ask them they will say we don't have anything right now. It's like always the same answer. It's way better to shop at Macy's than Sephora at Easton Kohl's as they will offer u many benefits as well as lots of free samples and gifts which these people over here will never do.
