  Unfortunately, I can't recommend this business based on my experience. I had my first lash lift and tint done here on August 5. Within about two weeks, I noticed black pieces/chunks coming off my lashes, and by roughly the third week the tint had noticeably faded. Since this was my first lift and tint, I initially assumed this might simply be normal wear. After speaking with another esthetician, however, I was told that what I experienced was not typical for that timeframe. The bigger disappointment was the communication surrounding my wedding reception. At my original appointment, I specifically explained that my reception is October 31 and that I wanted my lashes done beforehand. I asked about planning ahead and was told appointments aren't scheduled more than four weeks in advance and that I should watch the online booking site. I agreed and did exactly that. When I later reached out about refreshing my lashes, I was specifically told that the week of October 26 would be perfect for another lift and tint before my reception. When it came time to schedule, however, I was then told that week was already completely booked and I could join a cancellation list. I understand that schedules fill up. What I don't understand is how I could have reasonably secured an appointment when I followed the booking instructions I was given from the beginning. Had I been told something different, I could have made other arrangements much sooner. Fortunately, I was able to find another local esthetician who answered my questions, scheduled both the maintenance I need now and my October reception appointment, and charges slightly less. I had genuinely intended to become a returning client. Unfortunately, between the longevity of my results and the conflicting scheduling information for an event I had discussed from my very first visit, I've chosen to take my business elsewhere.

  If you are looking for a well run established business to have a service done this is it. They have high standards for cleanliness and have ongoing training in new ways to do hair. When I have a question about what I need to have done they are always very accommodating.

  Tangles was suggested to me by a friend and I have had the pleasure of having about three nail appointments here. The nail service is excellent, and the nail technicians do fantastic work! If you are looking for a salon that hand files instead of using drills, this is the place. They also don’t use acrylic, but offer plexi gel instead. Everyone has been very nice, friendly, and the staff seem genuinely happy to be at work. The vibe is welcoming, woman-supportive, and incredibly clean! However, the booking process makes the overall experience awkward and frustrating. Because they are so busy, you are typically scheduled a month out. Due to returning clients who seem to get priority scheduling, the appointments fill up quickly. Furthermore, when I have had to reschedule, the conversation with the front desk falls flat. The staff doesn’t suggest alternative dates or make rebooking a priority—they just leave it alone and tell you to look at the website. This hands-off approach makes the rescheduling process feel dismissive. As a first-time customer, I had no idea how to use their website and still resorted to calling to make sure it was correct. In hindsight, it would be much more professional and productive to just schedule right over the phone. While the quality of the nail service itself is great, the booking communication definitely has room for improvement. That is why I unfortunately won’t be returning due to these scheduling issues.

  I’ve now had an eyebrow and nail appointment at Tangles and I’ll definitely be returning. The space is clean and everyone is very friendly. Brii did a chrome manicure that I love and was super easy to talk to. Thanks!
