- KHKristi HarrellAug 6, 20185.0I showed them a picture of a balayage that I wanted done and my hair ended up all one color. To do the balayage they were going to darken my roots and I somehow ended up with almost blonde roots! They stayed late after closing to darken my roots so we went through the whole process all over again and my hair was still the same color as the ends! My hair was all one length so I asked it to be layered and it was lopsided when I got home and looked in the mirror. It's short on one side and long on the other! I spent 5 years growing my hair out and it was almost down to my butt and now in a single night it's completely RUINED. Do NOT go to this place. I paid $115 for them to completely botch my hair. UPDATE: I came back in to get a refund and a stylist named Brandi was standing there and overheard what happened and immediately jumped in to save the day! She explained what she could do to fix it and I wnet back in today and she fixed every mistake the first stylist made! She even styled it for me! beautiful!!! If you do go here do NOT do a walk in or you'll be stuck with whoever happens to be there. Schedule and appointment and ask for Brandi! Shes been there for 18 years and knows what shes doing!!
- CDCharlene DorseyJun 3, 20141.0i tried to go down there today to book an appointment with a specific stylist... well the lady at the front counter told me that she had an availability today so i took it (its really hard to get that with this stylist) so i came back when it was time and someone was already sitting in her chair getting a full color. i asked if she was running behind and when they looked they had accidentally scheduled me for that day on the following week. i have small children and had found a last minute baby sitter. so needless to say i couldn't get my hair done. i have decided to no longer go to JC Penny salon for the lack of organization.
