  PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY !!!! I’m writing this review on behalf of my brother. This women in my personal opinion is doing very bad business and taking advantage of people who struggle with hair loss. Prior to writing this review I searched all over the internet to read other reviews and what I found was huge 2-5 year gaps between reviews which tells me in my own personal opinion that reviews are probably being deleted and or buried. Have no fear though,it’s 2026 and my next step is to post a very in depth TikTok video(coming in the next 2 days by searching #gildashairstudio #ohio #hair). Now let’s get to the issue. My brother who is in his 40’s has been bald on the top of his head since he was a teenager. He always just shave his head but after going through a divorce he wanted to feel good so he started looking into glue on hair pieces for men. He came across Gilda and went into her studio. The first hair piece he wanted quickly so he personally gives her a pass because he did want it quickly so when she sold him a short straight almost blonde piece he chalked it up to being his own fault since he was in a hurry. Keep in mind that my brother has curly brown hair. Well fast forward and he obviously needed a different piece because the one he had didn’t match his hair on the sides of his head. He called her up and asked her to order him a new piece and he made an appointment to come get it installed. Again keep in mind she knows my brother has medium colored brown hair that is curly. He shows up and what does she have…pre cut very short black straight hair. At this point my brother has already pre paid her the $700 for this hair piece so he allows her to install it and he leaves but he quickly realizes that he must speak up because this piece looks even worse then the last piece. I don’t know if you have ever seen a hair piece installed on the top of a man’s head but the norm or the standard is for the man to get shaved on the top then a long in length piece glued on then the piece is cut and blended with the man’s hair around the sides so that it blends properly and looks natural. Well Gilda is not very happy that my brother is not happy so she tells him that “he should be happy he only paid $700 because most people pay a lot more”. He goes back to her studio where she now gives him a orange/blonde piece that again is already pre cut and doesn’t match my brothers hair on the sides of his head. He leaves because Gilda already made it clear that he should be happy with what he has been given. Within a few days the hair on this piece started falling out. I seen my brother today and he was devastated and every ounce of confidence sucked right out of him. I am his must younger sister so I’m a lot more social media inclined so I’m now making it my personal mission to warn others and expose what is going on at Gilda’s hair studio. Nobody that is struggling with hair loss should also have to deal with this.

  I wish there was a zero star option. Today I took my mother who is battling cancer for a consultation. We were hoping to find a natural looking wig for when she loses her hair. Instead we received the worst customer service. I simply asked if Gilda had wigs in stock that she could try on. Her response was that I was being negative, I shouldn't ask questions and that it wasn't my consultation it was my mother's. We immediately left. I hope this helps so you don't waste your time. I am also a hairstylist and never in a million years would I treat someone this way. Poor business practice and manners!!
