- LLLolaMay 7, 20261.0Have been going to location at the EastGate plaza in Salem Ohio for several years but after today I won't be returning. I signed in online, when I walked in I were hastily greeted by a very feminine looking man who was annoyed by me interrupting the haircut he was in the process of doing. Gave him my phone number, name and insisted the phone number I gave him did not match the information he had on the computer. Could I possibly have used another phone number? No, I said that is only phone number I have . Well he said I will have to create another profile. He processed to ask me my phone number, last name and personal address. Personal information I told him I didn't feel was needed since I have been signing in with just my first name and phone number for years. I didn't feel there was a need to give my personal information in front of a waiting area full of people. He obviously didn't like my response and walked away. I waited an additional half hour for anyone else to acknowledge me. Another stylist, LORI ,came to the register and refused to acknowledge the fact that she had been cutting my hair for the past year and a half. She was obviously intimidated by this "man" who probably had some type of authority over the shift. I hope he isn't a manager ! This place will surely close. Shame on her I would give her at least a $10.00 tip each time and buy products in addition to the haircut. I will never go back there and will let everybody know how I was treated. I were there at that location on 5/7 around 4:30 /5:00 pm

When is Online Check-In available?
Online Check-In becomes available five minutes after the salon opens. We accept Online Check-Ins up to the point where the estimated wait time is as long as the salon will remain open, or 30 minutes before closing time at the latest.
Can I use Online Check-In for all types of services?
Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
Do Great Clips salons sell haircare products?
Yes, Great Clips offers three lines of its exclusively branded haircare and styling products for men, women, and kids, including Solutions by Great Clips®, Tea Tree Solutions by Great Clips®, and GRIT @ Great Clips™. Salons also carry many commercial brands, such as American Crew®, Paul Mitchell®, and Sexy Hair®.
