I had a few bad experiences with the business when I was younger so I decided to try it out again, and I’m so happy I did! I left feeling confident and happy knowing I had a good haircut and my stylist went right along with what I wanted.
- SCStephanie Cramer6 days ago1.0My boyfriend's been going to Great clips for years and whenever he goes in to get a cut they always know what kind of cut, how long and all that bye looking in their system. He went there on Sunday to get a cut and of course knowing that they already know how he wants a cut, he put his face in the girl doing it that, she was doing. I'm normally there but I had to run a quick errand and when I got back and saw what she had done, I had to try and remain calm for his sake. He gets a fade cut with approximately an inch and a half on top. When I got there he had hardly any hair left on the sides and back and the top had three different lengths to it. He says it's even shorter than a high in tight haircut. The bottom in the back sticks out because she did not blend it at the nape of his neck and she cut it so unbelievably short as far as length goes in the bag that it looks so weird. I don't know how long this girl's been working there but regardless, she had the top of his hair three different lengths and tried to tell me that it had something to do with the fact that he parts it on the side. She also got it so wet that she blow-dried it and then cut it. Even if this girl's brand new, she absolutely paid no attention in school. He's absolutely, without question and understandably so, definitely considering never going to Great clips again. So if you're going in there to get your haircut, be very careful because I don't know if there's other in there like her but if so take the time and wait at one of the other locations. I definitely know this he will never be going back to that one again and that girl should not be cutting hair. I know a fade is the most popular cut for a man and this girl had no idea what she was doing. None!!!!!

When is Online Check-In available?
Online Check-In becomes available five minutes after the salon opens. We accept Online Check-Ins up to the point where the estimated wait time is as long as the salon will remain open, or 30 minutes before closing time at the latest.
Can I use Online Check-In for all types of services?
Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
Do Great Clips salons sell haircare products?
