  Welcoming environment. My issue is I was scheduled with a stylist that was still listed as working at the salon, when I got there they said she had just been fired and I would be with a different stylist. Should’ve been my first red flag. I was then moved to a different stylist, explained what I wanted in detail (I am also a hairstylist). I just wanted the back of my bob fixed and straightend out and I wanted a full highlight. No root smudge, just directly to the root. My stylist then proceeded to do my hair, during this process he stated that he doesn’t like using foils and it’s used to it because he uses cotton.. but was out of cotton so he had to use foils. Fine. After my highlight he said I had foils lines all over my head and we needed to root shadow my hair to get rid of them.. again, not what I asked for.. I tried letting this go because like I said I am also a hairstylist and things happen. Then came the cutting, I only wanted the back fixed and I said that I like the current length my hair is at.. do not cut the length. After he is finished cutting he turned my chair and my hair was 2 inches shorter…. All the way up to my chin.. I was pleasant and thanked him, paid him & even tipped him. I then attempted to reach out to the salon two different ways to talk to the owner/manager. Nobody has reached out and I am very unhappy with the results and not having anyone reach back out to me. Things happen, I understand. But this was not handled correctly. Just my two cents!!

  Mollie is an absolute miracle worker! My hair has never looked better nor has it been healthier. She provides thorough education to her clients around hair health, product recommendations and is not afraid to push back on what you're requesting if it will compromise the integrity of your hair health. She is my most cherished hair stylist I've ever had and I fully trust her to do anything to my hair. The Beauty Barn in general is a cute and welcoming environment with super friendly staff all throughout. Can't recommend enough!

  I highly recommend this business for many reasons. Damon the owner is wonderful as a stylist. Patient and efficient. His knowledge spans decades and it's apparent. I have never felt rushed or like he wasn't fully enjoying making my hair look fantastic. His wife Lauren is very sweet and always willing to help. She has a wonderful boutique in the salon that has unique things along side awesome top hair products. Mollie is a stylist at the salon who is very good. She has a smile on her face and pays attention to detail. Mollie has done some color procedures and amazing styling techniques on my hair. Jessica gave me an amazing facial and dermoplaning. My skin looked wonderful for many many days. She was extremely professional and also treated me in a way that made me feel right at home. Never question the outstanding qualities of this salon. It's great.
