- NHNour Hanna3 days ago1.0I had a very disappointing experience at the Sephora store in Westgate Mall because of the store manager. I went to purchase a $50 Sephora gift card. First, I was told that I couldn’t use my existing Sephora gift card to buy another gift card, which I understood. I then tried to pay with an American Express gift card that had more than enough funds to cover the purchase, but I was told it wouldn’t work. I politely asked if it could be entered manually, but the manager immediately said no. When I asked what payment option I was supposed to use since neither of my gift cards was being accepted, her response was simply, “I don’t know, then you can’t have it.” I found her attitude dismissive, rude, and unprofessional. Rather than trying to help or offer any solution, she made me feel like my business didn’t matter. I understand that stores have policies, but customers deserve to be treated with respect. I hope Sephora addresses this issue and provides better customer service training so other customers don’t have a similar experience.

Although this Sephora did not have the product my mom was looking for based on the size of this particular store. The agent smiled beautifully as she cleaned a makeup brush and gave mom and I the necessary information we needed.
