- GRGale Jacobs (River)Apr 30, 20262.0I feel upset that I have to even write this. for years I was coming here, and felt there was a general friendliness. but it's slowly gotten more and more hostile whenever I come in. She used to interact with me and talk. That's fine if she's quiet now. I get that I need a super big haircut every time, but some people don't have money or have disabilities that limit transportation. I even explained "I was growing it out, but changed my mind". A lot of my friends my age do this. it's not unusual to do it. I was left in shock and I felt sick to my stomach. I tried to explain the haircut I wanted, and I even tried to show pictures. She declined needing them at the beginning... And then when she couldn't figure it out, she took it out on me. said I "asked for 3 different haircuts". I literally was going to show you pictures, but you declined! that's on you, not me. I felt so anxious. I started to dissasociate. I was shaking. I promised to tip her well, halfway through, cause I felt like I was unsure what I did. And when I asked to have more of the side shaved, she looked at me like I had 3 heads and just wouldn't do it? all cause "you didn't ask for this at the beginning" maybe I'm indecisive, but don't take it out on me and don't leave me hanging! I have had any and all lengths of hair. I didnt care if it was short, and told her that. she left a huge side area, and now it's bothering me around my ears. Now: I have had her cut my hair super short before. She has done a phenomenal job then. I looked amazing! Why she thought it was okay to just assume I could come in whenever, and said "you have a week to fix it like" ?? maybe don't assume people have money to drive like that. I gave her a nice tip, cause maybe she was stressed out, but I will never be coming back. I hope she learns that people can't be treated this way. I feel scared that she'd scream at me next. I was just trying to get a short haircut as a woman, is that something she has a problem with?

Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
