- MMMakaylaSep 14, 20231.0Went in to return a foundation that was purchased about week ago. Not my shade after giving it a few tries to see how it oxidizes on my skin and watery consistency. The worker then asked if I need help being re-matched to my correct shade and I politely declined as I had already gone to another Sephora to get re-matched and purchased the correct shade online as they were out in store. During this return, the employee starts opening the bottle of foundation and putting it on the back of her hand (I assume to make sure the shade was accurate? Idk.) She proceeds to say that there is water or oil in the foundation that I am returning, and treats me as if I am the one who put said water or oil in it. Gave me a dirty look and handed me my return receipt. Why else would I be returning the foundation? It was the incorrect shade AND I also agreed the consistency of it was strange. This was my first time purchasing this foundation so I didn't know any better. I’ve already re-purchased the foundation online hopefully in the correct shade. Walked out of there feeling like I had a target on my back. I do not appreciate being treated this way simply for just returning something that did not work out for me. It’s not like my return effects how this employee was going to get paid regardless ? Customer service has gone down tremendously. My advice to you, don’t return any used products here or you’ll have the finger pointed at you as to why there’s a problem with the item you are returning.
