  I’ve been having Nancie Hogan cut my hair for years.I decided to go to her to get hi and low lights foiled. I have med brown hair. She only let the bleach process 10 minutes so it was gold, not pale yellow/white like I wanted. The low lights she partly painted on. They were improperly placed and unblended leaving a line of demarcation and a striped look. There’s a big splotch in the front that’s completely unblended and weighted much heavier than the others. It was just a poorly planned rush job. She claims to be a “master colorist “ but didn’t understand that when you mix bleach and developer it has an exothermic reaction which creates heat. I tried to give it time. Was I being too critical? No i wasn’t. I asked another cosmetologist and they said it was too gold and sloppily done. So I took some pictures and sent them to Nancie and let her know I wasn’t happy and asked what we could do. She accused me of doing something to my hair. The next day I took the pictures outside and realized some of what she’d seen in the pictures the previous night was bad lighting so I sent the pictures from outside so she could clearly see, not only did I not do what she accused me of, but that it was poor work product. I requested a refund for the coloring portion of the bill. She didn’t respond. I sent a last message letting her know how disappointed I was in her handling of the situation. She didn’t offer repair or refund, she just stopped responding instead. So I filed a dispute on my cc. I was initially going to let her keep the tip but I’m getting that back too! I DO NOT RECOMMEND HER FOR CHEMICAL SERVICES!
