  All of the girls who were working tonight were so incredibly sweet with my 5 year old daughter, who had been counting down the days all summer until she could come get her ears pierced. Seher did her piercings and was so patient and kind. This is now my daughter’s favorite place in the mall and she’s already asking when she can come get a second set of ear piercings.

  Honestly this place sucks. Zero stars if I could, and if you don’t believe me, believe my three cousins who all went to different locations and got botched piercings. Either they don’t heal or they get irritation bumps. I went to get my nose piercing changed that has been healed for three years and the “nurse” caused so much pain and pressure to my nose that I shouldn’t have felt because my piercing was fully healed. Now I have an irritation bump and have to take my piercing out. Save your money and don’t go here. Overpriced just go to a tattoo/piercing shop.

  We had an absolutely amazing experience at Rowan\! This was my fifth time visiting, and somehow each experience just keeps getting better\. Nurse Jenn was incredible, especially with my eight\-year\-old, who needed a re\-piercing using a needle taper\. She was so patient, reassuring, and kind, talking her through every step and making sure she felt comfortable the entire time\. She also helped my girlfriend and me choose the perfect jewelry and placement for our new piercings, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out\. Nadia, the store manager, was equally wonderful\. She answered all of our questions, offered great advice, and patiently helped us try out different looks by holding earrings up to our ears so we could really picture everything before deciding\. The entire staff is knowledgeable, well\-trained, welcoming, and genuinely great at what they do\. We also learned that Rowan hosts private parties, and we’re now looking forward to hopefully holding a fundraising event there this year for our Special Education PTA\! Jenn and Nadia are truly incredible humans who made the whole experience fun, comfortable, and special\. 10/10 — five stars doesn’t feel like enough\!

  I wish I had read these poor reviews before going here. Of all Rowan’s that you can go to please avoid this one. I agree, the nurse was standoffish and when we walked in we were not greeted at all. We went around and look at some jewelry and tried to figure out on our own what the process there is like being that it was our very first time at any Rowan. Literally no one greeted us and the 3 employees that were there just hurtled amongst themselves and were having their own conversation as if there weren’t any customers there. Because I wanted the piercing badly and I already drove a half hour there I went ahead and got it pierced but the experience was off and paying nearly $200 for an ear pricing is quite literally absurd and on top of that they ask you to tip, lol, never again!! Save your time and money and visit Claire’s or a different Rowan. Unprofessional.

  ⭐️ 1-Star Review – Rowan at Westchester Mall I had an extremely disappointing experience with Rowan at the Westchester Mall. Unfortunately, what should have been a simple piercing experience turned into a very stressful situation. The staff was extremely unprofessional and, in my experience, did not handle my concerns appropriately after I experienced damage to my ear from the piercing. I was especially disappointed by how my concerns were handled when I reached out for help. After realizing that my ear had been damaged, I contacted the location because I needed the piercing removed. Instead of being accommodated and helped promptly, I was told they could not take me in to have the piercing removed. I found this incredibly upsetting, especially considering that I was seeking assistance because of an injury involving a piercing performed at their location. I expected better customer service and, more importantly, better care and concern for a customer who was experiencing a problem after being pierced. The entire situation left me feeling dismissed and unsupported. I am now having to seek medical attention and have documentation from my doctor regarding the damage to my ear. I strongly recommend that Rowan take situations like this more seriously and provide appropriate support when a customer experiences complications following a piercing.
