  I visited Studs in Rockefeller Center with my 14 year old daughter. Liv took the time to meet with her and explain what piercings she could get based on her ear anatomy. My daughter wasn’t a good fit for what she initially wanted but Liv was great a suggesting other piercings. She ended up getting a hidden helix and a daith. Liv’s confidence, demeanor and expertise created a safe environment where my daughter felt comfortable and did a great job.

  It was a busy Saturday but all the staff were accommodating and efficient. Shout out to Sonny for being informative and overall good/positive vibes when I had my piercing (flat). Aftercare is super important, did my part in making sure I cleaned my new piercing every couple hours and all the other precautions. It’s been healing pretty well I would say!

  I’ve had such an amazing experience with Studs! The staff is always so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Their jewelry is beautiful, high quality, and my gold pieces have never tarnished, which has been a huge plus. If you’re thinking about getting a piercing or looking for jewelry that lasts, this is definitely the place to go!

  If I could give it a ZERO with no STAR, it fits perfectly. My daughter was excited to go here (STUDS-Soho) for her ear piercing after seeing so many glowing reviews on TikTok, but our experience was disappointing. The confirmation email instructs you to arrive 15 minutes early or risk having your appointment canceled. Our appointment was at 11:00 a.m. (their first appointment of the day), and when we arrived early as instructed, the store was still locked. Beyond that, the customer service felt very cold and unwelcoming. The staff lacked warmth, communication, and enthusiasm, which made what should have been a memorable experience for my daughter feel impersonal. If you're marketing your business as a premium piercing experience, the customer service should reflect those standards. Based on our experience, I would recommend looking into Rowan or another professional piercing studio instead.

  They had such low stock in everything, meaning hardly any flat backs at all, and also not the clickers I wanted in the right size. Also, the person "helping" me was the least interested person I have ever met. When I picked two pieces and was paying, I saw a sign saying I could get four for $98 (when the two I picked were already $80). So I said, "Oh, so I could get two more for only $20?! Then I should do that." And her reply was, "Yeah, I guess. If you want to." And in a very Daria voice iykyk 😶 I think a basic sales training would be good for this girl/woman. She also could not give advice (confidently) on sizing, which was frustrating. It felt like I had to work hard to spend my money there. I'll be going to another location from now on.
