  They had such low stock in everything, meaning hardly any flat backs at all, and also not the clickers I wanted in the right size. Also, the person "helping" me was the least interested person I have ever met. When I picked two pieces and was paying, I saw a sign saying I could get four for $98 (when the two I picked were already $80). So I said, "Oh, so I could get two more for only $20?! Then I should do that." And her reply was, "Yeah, I guess. If you want to." And in a very Daria voice iykyk 😶 I think a basic sales training would be good for this girl/woman. She also could not give advice (confidently) on sizing, which was frustrating. It felt like I had to work hard to spend my money there. I'll be going to another location from now on.

  I had an amazing experience at Studs Nolita! Isabella was wonderful—professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient. I got a faux snug piercing and was really nervous about both the pain and the healing process, but she made me feel completely at ease. The piercing itself was so quick that I barely felt a thing. It’s been three days now, and the healing has been going surprisingly well—no pain, no swelling, and honestly, I almost forget it’s there sometimes. Isabella walked me through the aftercare and answered all of my questions, which made the whole experience even better. I couldn’t be happier with my piercing and would definitely recommend Studs Nolita to anyone considering a new piercing! I’ll be returning to studs for all my future piercings!

  Very disappointed with the service and communication. I was first told when I did my piercing that I could come and do the downsize 2 months without a charge. I went back today and after they changed them they told me I had to pay. I had also asked at the beginning if I could use some other earrings that I previously bought at studs and they said yes I could do that. But then after they downsized and I had to pay, they then told me I would have to pay one more time if I wanted to change the earrings. I was so upset and super disappointed that they just didn’t tell me this when I asked. I would have just waited and brought my other earrings, so that I would only needing to pay once’s. Even though I was told the whole service should have been free. Not good service

  Tanner at the Soho location was absolutely phenomenal. After dealing with ongoing issues for nearly two years with a helix piercing from the Flatiron location, Tanner was the first person who immediately recognized that my hoop had been improperly sized for my anatomy and was causing constant irritation and damage. I had repeatedly gone back to the Flatiron store expressing concerns that the hoop felt too tight and was pressing into my ear, and each time I was reassured it was fine. It was not. I ultimately ended up with infection concerns, dermatologist visits, medication, and scar tissue from a hoop that was simply too small for the placement. Tanner took the time to carefully assess the piercing, explain what had happened, safely remove the jewelry, and help save the piercing before it became even worse. She was knowledgeable, patient, professional, and genuinely cared. The difference in experience between Soho and Flatiron was night and day. If you are getting pierced or changing jewelry in NYC, I highly recommend the Soho store and specifically Tanner. She truly knows what she’s doing.
