I am a returning customer and somehow just realized that when ordering jewelry they come as 19 gauge, which there’s nothing wrong with that, but for my helix I want 16 gauge. I reached out to customer service and she helped me understand about the sizing and length, and created an invoice for me in a flash. Note: I do realize you can order a separate backing in 16 gauge, but I didn’t want to order another one and pay more when I can just have it initially come as 16 gauge. I am very happy with my order and my experience.

His design instincts were amazing and he recommended unique pieces in spots that totally fit my anatomy that I couldn’t think of myself. I ended up getting one piercing that day with a marquise hoop that looks perfect with the rest of my piercings. He also helped me pick out another dangly piece that blew my mind with how great it fit in my other ear. I’m getting another conch piercing in the spot he recommended next to finish out my curated ear! Thank you, Lee for being the most awesome stylist! And also Ashley for being so cool and the best piercer I’ve ever had!

Are your earrings sold as singles or pairs?
Maria Tash jewelry is sold as singles unless otherwise stated. To order a pair, please add two of the items to your cart. Our large earrings are the only items we sell in pairs. These items are pictured as a pair and the product description also states that they’re sold as a pair.
What size jewelry works best for me?
Our experience involves you pairing one-on-one with our stylists to completely guide you through your styling and piercing. There are multiple sizes to our jewelry, but our team will make sure that you are properly sized and confident.
What is the difference between a threaded and traditional stud?
Threaded backings use a screw-on/off design that makes the earring stay more securely in the ear. This is our standard style of jewelry. A traditional backing is also available. This is the traditional style of earring where you have a butterfly back that is separate and pushes onto the post to hold the jewelry in place.
Do I need to book an appointment?
Appointments are available for piercings but walk-ins are always welcome. Appointments are not required for fittings and installs or purchasing jewelry.
Can I be pierced with my own jewelry?
Due to sterilization needs, we do not pierce with jewelry that is not Maria Tash. The best selections from our full collection will be available for styling and piercing. Our styles come in white, yellow, rose, and black gold. You're welcome to bring in your existing Maria Tash pieces and consult with a piercer to see if it can be used for an initial piercing.
How many piercings can I get in one session?
We recommend up to four piercings per session, but this is dependent on the piercings you are thinking about and your anatomy. Our stylists and piercers can best consult with you during your visit.
Can I be pierced if I am under 18?
Yes, please see piercing services page for each Maria Tash location. You must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and you both must bring ID with you. If the parent/legal guardian and child have different surnames, we require further identification to confirm guardianship i.e. a birth certificate. Earlobe piercing may be done at 5 years of age and up, cartilage piercing at 16 years and up.
Do you pierce with a needle or a piercing gun?
All of our piercings are made with single use sterile needles rather than piercing guns. We do not use piercing guns as they are not very accurate and cannot be properly sterilized.
