  I cant say enough about this store. I came.in after having a horrible experience with a makeup artist that morning. It was my birthday and I had a brunch in 2 hours. They squeezed me in and placed with an artist named Autumn.When I arrived she had everything ready to go.She let me vent, validated me and changed the whole trajectory of my birthday. She executed my reference look perfectly and did it within 30 min. Im so happy things didnt work out with the previous spot because it gave me the chance to meet her and rest of this lovely staff. I would HIGHLY recvomend and definitely plan on going back ❤️ thanks again for everything

  It was actually my first time walking into a Sephora and I was very pleased and impressed! The sales associates were beyond helpful, very patient , inviting & provided excellent customer service!!

  I’ve given the Sephora Merrick location multiple chances, and unfortunately, it continues to DISSAPOINT. No matter what time I visit, the overall atmosphere feels unwelcoming and uncomfortable. The staff often come across as disinterested and, at times, visibly irritated when approached for help. It doesn’t feel like a place where customers are genuinely valued or supported. IF YOU READ OTHER REVIEWS, THEY ALSO HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS AS WELL. IT’S CLEARLY NOT JUST ME THIS LOCATION NEEDS SOME TRAINING OR SOMETHING. On my most recent visit, I was told about a 30-day return policy in a way that felt unnecessary and slightly condescending, especially since my receipt clearly showed I was well within the return window. Instead of being helpful, the interaction felt dismissive and left a negative impression. What stands out most is the lack of genuine customer service. Asking questions, which should be encouraged in a beauty retail environment, seems to be met with attitude rather than assistance. The experience feels forced and inauthentic, which is disappointing for a brand that prides itself on inclusivity and service. For comparison, I’ve had consistently excellent experiences at Sephora Walt Whitman Shops and Sephora Roosevelt Field Mall. The teams there are welcoming, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which makes all the difference. I strongly recommend visiting one of those locations instead. This Merrick store, unfortunately, falls far below the standard I expect from Sephora.

  This is my absolute favorite Sephora location! I have always had wonderful interactions with the staff here but today's experience was exceptional. After a bad day, I was excited to treat myself to a new product I had been excited about, only to find out that they were sold out! Luckily for me, Sabira went above and beyond to find me one and ensure I left happy. Thank you so much again for your help and generosity! :)

  I went for a Perk Face + Lip Hydrafacial and I am so pleased. The staff here at the Merrick location were so helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you Alexis for helping me with booking, Sabrina thank you so much for your help as well, and Jennifer who did my facial. I will definitely be going back, my face feels so soft and smooth!
