  I came to Sephora on 09/28 around 7:30pm looking for a specific product. When asking Janis she was incredibly dismissive, I asked if they had the rhode lip boost in stock and she answered “ no I don’t think so” while already turning her back and walking away. She didn’t even bother check if they actually didn’t have the item in stock. Sephora is a very prestigious brand who should hold their employees to a high standard especially when it comes to customer service. Unfortunately I had a horrible experience today because of Janis.

  I had an extremely disappointing experience at this location. as the customer service was incredibly rude and unprofessional. From the moment I interacted with the personal the attitude felt dismissive, sassy, and completely unwelcoming. It genuinely seemed like they had no interest in assisting customers or providing basic customer service. If u people like that does not have de patience to interact with customer why they are working in stores..

  I always feel uncomfortable at this Sephora because one employee with the name *Taily* constantly watches me whenever I shop, as if she thinks I’m going to steal. I understand security, but this behavior feels disrespectful and makes me feel unwelcome.

  I can honestly say I miss the pharmacy on 82 and 37..... I used to frequent this Sephora location as it is very close to my house. Depending on the day, you may encounter either helpful or unhelpful team members. Lately, I’ve had several disappointing experiences with the customer service. In particular, I’ve encountered an employee with yellowish hair and very long nails, as well as a heavier-set employee with glasses who is often by the register. Unfortunately, both have come across as having an attitude, and the employee with glasses in particular was rude and lacked any type of customer service skills. Many of the employees make you feel as though they are doing you a favor by assisting you rather than genuinely wanting to help. In my opinion, this is one of the worst Sephora locations in NYC when it comes to customer service. They carry plenty of products that I would otherwise be interested in purchasing, but I’m not comfortable spending my money somewhere I don’t feel appreciated as a customer. I often go in wanting to purchase products but leave empty handed due to the poor experience. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and works on improving the overall customer experience.

From the moment I interacted with her, her attitude felt dismissive, sassy, and completely unwelcoming. It genuinely seemed like she had no interest in assisting me or providing basic customer service. If u can’t handle retail, quit.
