    It’s really unfortunate that this location consistently delivers such an unpleasant experience. The staff are often rude and unprofessional, constantly rolling their eyes, making customers wait unnecessarily, and creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. After multiple bad experiences, it’s clear this isn’t just someone having a bad day; it reflects poor customer service and a lack of professionalism. Other Sephora locations in Manhattan are so welcoming, helpful, and pleasant, which makes the difference even more noticeable. What’s especially disappointing is that the rest of the mall has friendly and professional employees in other stores, while visiting this Sephora feels uncomfortable every time. It’s a shame, because the brand experience should be consistent. Staff here seriously need better customer service training.

    I visited Sephora to purchase a perfume and had a mixed experience. The Asian associate who initially assisted me was kind and helpful, which I appreciated. However, the Hispanic cashier I interacted with at checkout was quite rude. After I paid with my card, she asked if I wanted a bag and I politely said no. She then handled the perfume very abruptly, placing it on the counter in a careless way where it almost fell. When I handed her the small bag I had, she dropped it on the floor. She also asked if I wanted a receipt in a very unfriendly tone. Overall, the interaction felt unnecessarily harsh and unprofessional, which really affected my experience. I hope this feedback is taken into account, as customer service should be consistent and respectful.

    Went in today with my sister and Michelle K helped us a lot by giving us the best advice on skincare and makeup! GIVE THIS LADY A RAISE! Me and my sister learned a lot of things from her, from what products with ingredients we should use and how to apply makeup. She's one of the most patient, friendly, and the sweetest employee there.

    I’ve only been here twice, and both times I ran into the same employee—an Indian-looking girl with the nastiest attitude I’ve ever seen. Perhaps it’s because I was white that she felt entitled to treat me like garbage, especially the second time I went there for a return. She accused me of NOT having opened the item (?) when I explained that I had a bad skin reaction to it. Yes, she said "But you didn't open it !!!!". First of all, how can you be so sure when the item wasn’t even sealed? What happened is that I barely tried it on my face, then put it back in its box the way it was, and she made it an issue instead of simply handling the return professionally. This happened on 5/4/2026 around 5:00 PM. Then I went to Target to get the lotion recommended by my dermatologist, and not only did I save about $20, but I was also helped by some sweet unbiased workers who could give her a few good lessons in customer service. The other time I went there, it was to pick up the Sephora birthday gift for my mother. She first told me the account didn’t exist, which is not true since my mother even has a Sephora credit card. Then she said it was against their policy to give it to someone else. Meanwhile, at their Union Square location, they told me it was no problem—they just didn’t have what she wanted, which is why I went here. She then went on to accuse her colleagues of not following the rules, just a pity and very unprofessional to say the least.
