  I’ve visited Sephora locations throughout NYC, but my experience at Kings Plaza on October 14, 2026, stood out entirely because of Anna Louisa (I hope I have her name right). I arrived with my two babies, one on my chest and one in a stroller, hoping to find a shade match for my discontinued NYX concealer. After initially being told Sephora doesn’t carry NYX, I explained that I wanted a similar product from NARS. Anna Louisa overheard me asking where to find NARS and directed me there. Then, noticing I needed more help, she returned and offered to find my shade. With little makeup knowledge, I truly appreciated her initiative, patience, and kindness. She matched my concealer, then helped me choose a NARS foundation and setting powder at my request, and handled my checkout. I came for one item and spent $130 because her service made me feel confident and comfortable buying everything I needed. What impressed me most was that she stepped in before knowing whether I would buy anything. She simply recognized that I needed help and made me feel welcome and supported. Anna Louisa deserves recognition for representing Sephora so well. She is the reason I look forward to returning to Kings Plaza Sephora, and I will absolutely ask for her again.

  Absolutely terrible customer service. We waited an entire hour just to get help from an employee. An hour! There were workers around, but nobody seemed to care that customers were waiting or needed assistance. We came in expecting normal customer service, but instead we were left standing around with no communication and no help. Waiting 1 hour for something that should have taken a few minutes is completely unacceptable. If you’re going to have customers come into your store, the least you can do is acknowledge them and actually help them. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had at Sephora. Very frustrating, very disappointing, and honestly not worth the time. Management seriously needs to improve the way customers are treated.

  This makes me sad to leave this. I have been coming to this store a really long time. Lately they don’t have the products or the staff is not interested in helping. I was directed to wait in an aisle and someone will come to me and I patiently waited 10 mins and everyone walked to the back and avoided eye contact even with me. If you run my phone #. I have spend 3k this year in Sephora on various products. I eventually just walked and went to Ulta Beauty and was immediately assisted. So sad to leave this!
