  We had a 12:30 appointment and arrived 10 minutes early as the site suggested. My daughter wanted her 4th hole pierced on both ear lobes. We were told she needed a needle piercing instead of the device, which required a notarized form because she's a minor. Since we didn't have the form completed, the Rowan associate suggested Staples' online notary services and gave me the QR Code to proceed with that process. I was surprised when I was charged $25 for the notary because the Rowan associate never mentioned that when she suggested the online service instead of going to the bank. It was a Saturday and I could have run to my bank to get it notarized for free. But I proceeded and submitted the notarized form at 12:30, which was the time of our appointment. There were a couple of other people ahead of us while we were waiting. By the time it was 1pm and we were still waiting, they let two others ahead of us that came in after us. The associate said that because I didn't have the form ready when I got there, she bumped them up ahead of us. We walked out and didn't go back. I will also mention that the piercing of 2 ear lobes would have costed over $200. They don't advertise that the earrings are priced per earring, not for the pair. The cheapest one was $68 ($136 for the pair) plus the $70 piercing fee ($35 per ear).

  Everyone was so friendly! They explained everything that would happen and made sure my daughter was ready and comfortable. They gave her the information she needed and gave her a chance to ask questions. Five stars and two thumbs up, would definitely recommend!

  Would definitely recommend. Took my daughter's 5 and 3 to get their ears pierced. It was clean and safe space to get their piercings and will definitely go again for any piercing or jewelry change needs. Everyone there was very nice. Nurse Mehwish was very kind and gentle with my daughter's and made them feel very comfortable. Also did a great job explaining the piercing and healing process.

  We had a bit of a piercing emergency. My daughter went to cheer camp with a 2 month old tragus piercing done at Rowan. When she returned from camp we struggled to switch from the plastic athletic earring back to her gold one due to some swelling. Urgent care couldn’t help us, so we ran to the professionals at Rowan! We were nervous because a full 24 hours had gone by and the ear hole began to close in the front. Piercing nurse Mehwish was so gentle and caring, she made sure my daughter was relaxed and comfortable through this ordeal. We were able to save the piercing, thankfully, and I now understand the value of having professional nurses on staff to do this job! Thank you so much Mehwish <3
