  I went in for a short gel x set last Tuesday 9/8. It took two hours and they were caked with glue underneath, the tech had to keep wiping off the paint and redoing, they were uneven and weirdly thick in some parts but thin in others. By Friday every single nail had popped off. I won’t be back unfortunately. I was a first time customer and this impression just made me not want to try again. I work 6 days a week and don’t have time to even attempt a redo, I just have to find a place that gets it right the first time.

  I’m officially a regular at Atmosphere! Ester has been doing my gels for a couple of months now, and she never disappoints. She’s so meticulous but also very gentle, which is hard to find. The space is lovely and pristine, and everyone there is so kind. For the level of skill you get, the price is more than fair. If you’ve been hopping around trying to find 'the one,' do yourself a favor and book with Ester!

  Does anyone know where Audrina is now working? I have been coming here for a few years. My experience has been wonderful and far less than wonderful, depending on the technician. I had standing appointments with Audrina who I just found out has left Atmosphere. They assigned me to a new technician without notice. I have had great mani/pedis and awful mani/pedis. Like most things, the quality depends on the provider. The last pedi I had by a different technician, she cut my skin badly. I felt a sharp pain, then blood. The nail tech did not say anything, she just started dabbing the blood until it stopped.

  I had a disappointing experience at this salon and wanted to share it. I've been coming here for over a year and a half and have always seen the same nail technician. Before my most recent appointment, I received a call letting me know I'd be seeing a different technician instead. I decided to keep the appointment and had my fill done by Stephanie. The appointment took about an hour and a half longer than my usual fills, despite being a relatively simple design. I was also charged significantly more than expected for the nail art and was charged for a large fill even though my nails were medium. At checkout, I paid because I just wanted to leave, but I later realized the charges weren’t right. About 7 days later, one nail had completely come off and nearly all of the others were lifting. I called the salon to have them repaired. After consulting with another technician, Ester, we agreed that removing the set was the best option. Ester was kind, professional, and genuinely apologetic. Unfortunately, my interaction with the owner was much less positive. While Ester was explaining the situation, the owner interrupted multiple times to say the nails had been on for "two weeks," despite it only being 10 days (by the time of my fix-it appointment). I also brought up being charged for the incorrect fill size, but was told nothing could be done about that. Although she did agree to let me do the removal free of charge, I still felt bulldozed by the owner in the interaction, and it didn't make up the cost of my previous service. What disappointed me most was the lack of willingness to listen and address the concerns. While I truly appreciated Ester's professionalism and kindness, the overall handling of the situation left me with a poor impression of the salon's customer service. If you choose to visit this salon, I highly recommend requesting Ester based on my experience Included pictures: I didn’t take a picture with the full set but here is my lost nail.
